Shipping goods via air is a fast way to get goods from one part of the world to another. At each airport, the freight gets handled by competent workers who unload, check and reload the planes. Over the last couple of years in Australia more freight was imported than exported in most of the larger cities. The airport freight handling industry has grown at 4.7% each year since 2018, and as we step out of post-COVID times and see another surge in air traffic there are opportunities for the industry to expand even more. The Job Description
Your role plays a large part in the safe operations surrounding the aircraft. You are responsible for several critical checkpoints and procedures as well as for contributing to a great work environment for your colleagues. Each task and checkpoint is carefully designed to ensure the freight is handled safely. Therefore, your attention to detail and your self-awareness are things we value highly.
