As most of us are aware, the Covid-19 Pandemic significantly impacted the operations of the aviation industry. Passenger flights and cargo transportation were greatly reduced following the introduction of travel restrictions, border controls, and quarantine arrangements. The Australian Government introduced financial and non-financial aid to airlines in March 2020, aiming to maintain:
- Essential air connectivity
- Preserve critical aviation capacity
- Maintain supply lines for air freight imports and exports

Despite the challenges, 2022 was a year of great success for Oceania Aviation! We are excited to step into the 2023 with multiple new and exciting partnerships. This year Oceania Aviation is proud to announce Air Vanuatu, Bonza, Fiji Airways, Nauru Airlines, and T’way Airlines as new partnerships. Our incredible team of dedicated, hard-working staff will be servicing these airlines and providing state-of-the-art ground handling services at multiple airports around Australia.
Oceania Aviation has seen an increase in flights following the pandemic. The upswing in partnerships and the reawakening of the travel industry have seen the number of flights rapidly increase. We are excited to announce that we are coming back strong. In 2022, Oceania Aviation handled 61,508 flights and anticipate that in 2023 this number will grow! The services we provided during these flight handlings consisted of check-in services, ramp services, and cabin cleaning and presentation. You can read more about all of our services here.
