October has been a month filled with much excitement and anticipation. As our business partnerships flourish and operations begin to take place in countless new locations, our team support and comradery become more prevalent than ever before. Our gratitude extends to our current staff members and new additions to the team who have all displayed a committed and enthusiastic approach to their daily tasks and responsibilities.

Special mentions go out to the following individuals who have experienced considerable change throughout this period.

  • Patrick has been welcomed into the role of Ground Services Manager for Brisbane Airport (BNE) after 10 years of service with Oceania and previously managing operations for Brisbane International and Domestic Terminals.
  • Lauren and Blake have recently relocated to Sydney Airport (SYD) for their twelve month secondment positions as Customer Service Support and Ramp Support respectively. The move from Gold Coast Airport (OOL) where both staff have consistently demonstrated unwavering loyalty and dedication to the company has been fuelled by their new responsibility of the Malindo Air Implementation in ADL and SYD.
  • Ebony from Team WEI has also taken the next step in her aviation career by committing to the appointment of Ground Services Manager at Weipa Airport (WEI). After joining Oceania over two and a half years ago, Ebony will continue to drive performance and promote an engaged and cohesive team as part of her latest assignment.
  • A new Ground Services Manager is also present at Hervey Bay Airport (HVB). Benjamin will enter his next chapter with Oceania Aviation after 15 years of employment. Ben has previously been involved with key new contract implementations for Virgin Australia in Apia and QantasLink for Miles, Weipa and Horn Island. We are looking forward to experiencing the same approach of delivering exceptional results.

Congratulations to all of the staff members who have dedicated themselves to the Oceania brand and have taken on new responsibilities to further their careers in aviation. Although this is an exciting time for our team’s new appointments this also means change for those exiting the Oceania network.

  • Previously GSM for Team HVB, Anne will be taking a well-earned break from operations whilst her new role is yet to be determined during this period of growth and expansion. After her commencement with the company in 2011, Anne has played an integral part in the success of our operations at Hervey Bay and the transformation to being awarded on a regular occurrence as Virgin Australia’s Best Airport for Customer Service. Fortunately, Anne is not leaving Oceania and will be back soon.
  • After joining the company several years ago, unfortunately it is time for David to explore other employment opportunities and step down from his prior commitment as GSM for Team WEI. David has represented our company to the highest of standards and always accepted new challenges as they were presented to him. We wish you every success in the future and appreciate your tremendous support over your many years with Oceania.

Well done to all of our staff members across the Oceania network, your dedication to delivering a service that is safety focused, efficient and innovative is very much appreciated. We look forward to seeing the same enthusiastic approach to all future operations as you have previously demonstrated.
